Hujan dalam komposisi

“What do you discern from the sound of the rain, the steady slapping of wet bougainvillea leaves against the window pane? What do you discern from the smell of the earth, from the sound of water running through the gutter?” He imagines the mysterious bond between the earth and the rain; he imagines a secret in the steady slapping of wet leaves.”

This is pieces from Sapardi, Rain In Composition. The poem is still go on and on, but i will stopped it there. For sometime we only see what we want to see. And i don’t expect the answer of “There is none. Nothing except you shadow behind the door dreaming.”
